Fellow.app is primarily an AI meeting assistant and notetaker, which aligns with the concept of asynchronous communication by providing recordings and transcripts of meetings. While it doesn't explicitly focus on 'screen recording' as a primary feature for general video messages like Loom, it does record meetings which include screen content. It offers camera recording as part of meeting recordings, instant shared links for these recordings, viewer analytics (org-wide analytics), and auto-generated transcripts. The 'Recording library' and 'Custom Recording Channels' directly match the 'Team Library' feature. It also mentions Slack integration and strong security/compliance features.
I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API
is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
