ShareTheBoard focuses on digitizing and sharing physical whiteboard content for hybrid collaboration and learning. While it involves video and sharing, its core functionality is not general-purpose screen or camera recording for asynchronous video messages like Loom. It does offer features like 'Content Camera' which acts as a virtual camera for sharing whiteboard content, and 'Board Memory' which saves content, but it's not the same as recording a person's screen or camera for a video message. It also has features like 'Digital Annotations' and 'Intelligent Transcription' which align with some 'other' features, but the primary 'must-have' features of Loom (screen/camera recording for general video messages, instant shared links for these videos, and basic video editing) are not directly offered in the same context.
I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API
is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
