Dropbox offers a suite of products, and while its core offering is cloud storage, its 'Replay' product provides video review and approval functionalities that align with several features of Loom. Specifically, Replay allows for sharing video links, provides a video feedback tool (similar to comments and reactions), offers video transcription, and includes security features like password protection and digital watermarking. However, Dropbox's primary focus is not asynchronous video communication in the same way Loom is, and it lacks explicit screen and camera recording features as a core offering within Replay, which are 'must-have' features for Loom.
I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API
is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
