Google Meet is primarily a real-time video conferencing tool, which differs from Loom's core asynchronous video messaging. While it offers some overlapping features like video recording and sharing, its main purpose is live meetings. It does not explicitly mention screen recording as a standalone feature for asynchronous sharing, nor does it focus on quick, context-rich video messages as a primary use case. The editing capabilities are also not highlighted in the same way as Loom.

I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
