Podia is an all-in-one platform for creators to sell digital products, courses, coaching, and build communities. While it offers a rich text editor for creating content (courses, blog posts), and supports membership monetization through selling various digital products, it doesn't primarily focus on a 'distribution and recommendation engine' for long-form articles like Medium. It does have community feedback tools, user profiles, email newsletter integration, and social sharing capabilities. However, its core is more about enabling creators to sell their own content directly rather than being a platform for general content discovery and monetization through a shared revenue model based on reading time.

I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
