HubSpot's Content Hub offers a CMS with a drag-and-drop editor, which can be considered a rich text editor for creating web pages and blog posts. It provides analytics and reporting features that align with reader engagement metrics. While not explicitly 'user profiles' for writers in the same way Medium has, it allows for managing content creators and their contributions. The platform also mentions SEO recommendations and optimizations, which implies a tagging and topic system for content categorization. HubSpot offers mobile apps for its overall platform, which would include access to Content Hub features. Finally, the platform includes search functionality for content. However, it lacks direct monetization for individual writers based on reading time, which is a core 'must-have' for the Medium concept.
I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API
is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
