vidIQ is primarily a YouTube channel management and optimization tool, which differs significantly from Medium's core offering as a content publishing platform for writers. While vidIQ offers analytics and tools for content creators, it doesn't provide a rich text editor for long-form articles or a direct distribution/recommendation engine for written content in the same way Medium does. However, it does have features related to engagement metrics, monetization (through subscriptions), mobile access, search/discovery, tags, and user profiles, which align with some of the 'other' features of Medium.
I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API
is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
