NGL is a social Q&A app where users can ask and receive anonymous questions. It features real-time Q&A, privacy controls (anonymous messaging), user profiles (though limited in detail compared to the concept), and moderation for inappropriate content. While it doesn't explicitly mention a category-based reputation system or geo/topic filtering, its core functionality aligns with the real-time Q&A and privacy aspects. The 'Pro' features hint at some form of user identification ('Hints about who sent each of their messages'), which could be a rudimentary form of user profile or expertise, and the 'Direct Messaging' feature is implied through the ability to send messages.

I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
