Inferable is an open-source project hosted on GitHub that focuses on building reliable AI Workflows and Agents. It explicitly mentions features like 'Workflows that execute in your own infrastructure' (flexible deployments/hosting options), 'Human-in-the-Loop with approval workflows' (workflow automation), 'Structured Outputs with automatic parsing, validation, and retries' (code customization/data transformation), and 'Agents to create agents that can use tools to achieve pre-defined goals' (AI/LLM integration). The project is also hosted on GitHub, implying source control integration. While it doesn't explicitly state a drag-and-drop UI builder or direct API/database integrations in the same way Retool does, its core functionality aligns with building internal tools and automating processes with AI, which often requires such integrations. The 'Developer-friendly SDKs in Node.js, and Go supported with more languages coming soon' also points to code customization capabilities.
I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API
is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
