Peakto is a Mac desktop application that organizes photos and videos using AI. It offers features like AI-powered tagging, search by description, search by similar images, and face search, which align with the 'chat-search' and 'face-tag-sync' features. It explicitly mentions a 'Timeline view' and compatibility with 'Apple Photos catalogs', directly matching 'timeline-view' and 'apple-photos-integration'. The app emphasizes 'Local AI Analysis' and 'Your media stays secure and fully private. No cloud needed: nothing is uploaded', which strongly supports the 'local-first-privacy' feature. It is also clearly a 'Native Mac App'. However, it does not focus on 'reconnection' or 'relationship nudges' as the core value proposition, nor does it explicitly mention generating 'memory cards', 'relationship prompts', 'shared timelines', or 'infographics/quizzes' for social interaction, which are must-have features for 'Remember This'. Its primary focus is on professional media management and organization for creators.

I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
