FamilyAlbum is a photo-sharing app primarily for families to share photos and videos of their children. It offers features like auto-organized albums (timeline view), private sharing (privacy controls), and compilation videos (similar to shared timelines). It emphasizes privacy and security, aligning with 'local-first, optional cloud' and 'secure cloud sync' principles, although it's not explicitly local-first. The app allows sharing via external apps. However, it lacks the core 'memory cards', 'relationship prompts', and 'one-tap infographics & quizzes' that are central to 'Remember This's' value proposition of surfacing memories as conversation prompts and relationship nudges. While it organizes photos chronologically and creates '1s Movies', these are not designed to spark specific conversations or provide relationship insights in the same way as 'Remember This'.

I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
