Bublup is a strong match for the URList concept. It explicitly offers saving and organizing various content types, including links, into folders (which align with lists/sections). It supports sharing content, including 'Rolls' which are shareable web pages, and has features for private and group folders, indicating granular sharing. The platform also mentions saving links and other media types, and has a mobile app. While it doesn't explicitly mention 'inline previews' or 'Tufte-style side notes,' its focus on visual organization and notes suggests similar functionality. The 'Rolls' feature also acts as a public sharing mechanism.

I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
