Readwise focuses on helping users remember what they read by importing highlights from various sources (Kindle, Instapaper, etc.) and resurfacing them through a daily email and app. While it allows users to organize highlights with tags and notes, it doesn't primarily focus on curating and sharing collections of URLs in the same way URList does. It's more about personal knowledge retention from existing reading materials rather than new link curation and public sharing of those curated lists. The 'contextual-side-notes' feature is matched because Readwise allows users to add their own annotations to highlights. 'Sign-in-authentication' is matched as it's a core part of their service for managing user accounts and highlights.

I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
