Microsoft Power BI is primarily a business intelligence and data visualization tool. While it allows users to connect to various data sources and APIs, and offers some level of customization through its reporting features, it is not a low-code/no-code platform for building internal applications or workflows in the same vein as Retool. It focuses on data analysis and reporting rather than application development. The mobile app description highlights data access, visualization, and alerts, which align with data connectivity and API integration for data sources, and usage analytics for monitoring. However, it lacks explicit features for drag-and-drop UI building for general applications, extensive code customization for app logic, or flexible deployment options for custom internal tools.
I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API
is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
