Bitbucket is a Git code management solution that offers features for code collaboration, CI/CD, and security. While it is not a low-code/no-code platform for building internal applications, it does provide robust features related to code management, version control, CI/CD pipelines, and security, which align with some of the 'other' features of the Retool concept. It offers code customization through its CI/CD pipelines and integration with various tools, access control and security features, flexible deployment options (cloud and self-hosted), strong version control integration with Git, audit logs for security and compliance, workflow automation through CI/CD pipelines, and AI/LLM integration for tasks like generating PR descriptions. However, it lacks the core low-code/no-code UI building capabilities and direct database/API integrations for application development that are central to Retool.
I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API
is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
