Jira Align is an enterprise agile planning platform that helps organizations connect strategy to execution. While it focuses on strategic work planning, portfolio management, and aligning teams, it does not offer a low-code/no-code UI builder, nor does it provide direct code customization capabilities for building internal applications in the same vein as Retool. It integrates with other Atlassian products like Jira and Azure DevOps, which implies data connectivity and API integration, but it's not a platform for building custom applications from scratch with drag-and-drop components or extensive code embedding for business logic. It's more about managing and visualizing work across an enterprise rather than building operational tools.
I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API
is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
