Compass by Atlassian is an internal developer platform focused on improving developer experience, cataloging services, and tracking software health. While it offers features like service catalog, health scorecards, and integrations with other Atlassian products (Jira, Bitbucket), it does not align with the core features of a low-code/no-code platform for building applications. There is no mention of a drag-and-drop UI builder, code customization for business logic, or direct API/database integrations for building applications. Its primary function is to provide visibility and management for existing software components and development processes, rather than enabling the creation of new internal tools through a low-code interface.
I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API
is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
