Campfire is primarily a writing and worldbuilding tool, not a content publishing and distribution platform like Medium. While it offers a rich text editor and allows for collaboration and sharing, its core purpose is to help writers organize and create their content, not to publish it to a broad audience with a recommendation engine or monetization model. It lacks the key 'must-have' features of distribution, recommendation, and monetization that are central to Medium's offering.
I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API
is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
