YesWriter is primarily a writing and note-taking app, not a full-fledged online publishing platform like Medium. It offers a rich text editor and is accessible via a mobile app. While it allows users to create and organize content, it lacks the core features of a distribution and recommendation engine, membership monetization, and community feedback tools that are central to Medium's value proposition. It also doesn't explicitly mention user profiles or following features in the context of a public publishing platform, but rather for personal organization.
I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API
is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
