LivingWriter is primarily a writing application focused on organizing, plotting, and drafting long-form content like novels and screenplays. It offers a rich text editor, user profiles, and tagging/organization features. While it facilitates the creation of content, it lacks the core distribution, recommendation, and monetization features that are central to the Medium concept. The platform is designed for writers to create and export their work, not for direct publishing and reader engagement within the platform itself in the same way Medium operates. Therefore, it only partially aligns with the concept's must-have features.

I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
