Teachable is an online platform primarily focused on enabling creators to build and sell online courses, coaching, digital downloads, and memberships. While it shares some features with a content publishing platform like Medium, its core offering is structured around educational products rather than general long-form articles. It has strong monetization features, analytics, and community tools, but lacks a direct 'rich text editor' for general article writing and a 'distribution & recommendation engine' in the same vein as a content discovery platform. The 'AI features' for content generation are for course outlines and quizzes, not general article writing.
I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API
is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
