Zoho Writer is a word processing application, not an online publishing platform like Medium. While it offers a rich text editor, collaboration tools (comments), and mobile app access, it lacks the core features of a publishing platform such as a distribution/recommendation engine, monetization models for writers, or detailed reader engagement metrics beyond basic collaboration. It's primarily a document creation and editing tool, not a content distribution network for independent writers.
I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API
is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
