Surf by Flipboard is a social media experience aggregator, allowing users to combine feeds from different platforms like Bluesky and Mastodon. While it focuses on content consumption and curation, it lacks the core publishing and monetization features of Medium. It does offer user profiles, tagging, mobile access, and search capabilities, aligning with some 'other' features, but none of the 'must-have' features related to content creation, monetization, or detailed writer analytics.
I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
