Miraquill is a creative writing platform that allows users to write, edit, and design various forms of write-ups like quotes, poems, and stories. It offers a rich text editor for designing posts with images, fonts, and colors. The platform emphasizes community engagement through following, commenting, and daily writing challenges. It also supports user profiles, tags/topics for discovery, and social sharing. While it has a subscription model, the description does not explicitly state that writers earn revenue based on member reading time, which is a key aspect of the 'Membership & Monetization' feature for Medium. Therefore, this feature is not included. The app is available on mobile, and it mentions making writings Google searchable, which aligns with distribution, but lacks a clear algorithmic recommendation engine as described for Medium.
I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API
is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
