Writer Journal - Story,Note is an offline writing app available on Google Play. It features a WYSIWYG markdown editor, which directly matches the 'rich-text-editor' feature. It also supports user profiles (implied by personal writing space and organization), a tagging system for content organization ('tags-and-topics'), and is explicitly a mobile application ('mobile-app-access'). While it focuses on writing and text analysis, it lacks the broader distribution, recommendation, and monetization features of a full online publishing platform like Medium. Its primary focus is on the writing process and personal organization rather than public content distribution and community engagement on a large scale.
I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API
is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
