Apple Books for Authors provides a platform for authors to publish and promote their ebooks and audiobooks. While it doesn't offer a rich text editor or community feedback tools in the same way Medium does, it does provide tools for authors to prepare and publish their content, including digital narration for audiobooks. It also offers monetization through royalties, sales reporting (reader engagement metrics), and promotional tools which include social sharing. The content is distributed through the Apple Books app, which is a mobile application, and there are search and discovery features within the Apple Books store. The core difference is that Apple Books is a distribution platform for completed books, not a writing and community platform like Medium.
I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API
is actually documented properly.
Check it out at our site.
Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
