Atticus is primarily a book writing and formatting software, not an online publishing platform like Medium. While it offers a rich text editor for writing books, it lacks the core features of a publishing platform such as a distribution and recommendation engine, membership monetization for content, reader engagement metrics beyond basic formatting, and community feedback tools. Its focus is on preparing books for external publishing platforms rather than hosting and distributing content itself.
I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API
is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
