BookBaby is primarily a self-publishing service that offers book printing, eBook conversion, and distribution. While it doesn't have a rich text editor for content creation like Medium, it does offer distribution services for both print and digital books, including a 'BookBaby Bookshop' which acts as a platform for authors to sell their books and earn royalties (membership monetization). They also offer audiobook creation and distribution services. The core difference is that BookBaby is a service provider for self-publishing, whereas Medium is a platform for direct content creation and consumption.
I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API
is actually documented properly.
Check it out at our site.
Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
