SelfPubConnect is primarily a community and course platform for self-publishing authors, not a content publishing and distribution platform like Medium. While it offers a membership model and mobile app access, it lacks the core features of a rich text editor for public content creation, a distribution/recommendation engine for general readers, and detailed reader engagement metrics for individual stories. Its focus is on providing advice, forums, and courses for authors rather than being a platform for authors to publish their long-form content to a broad audience.
I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API
is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
