Instapaper is primarily a 'read-it-later' service, which aligns with the concept of consuming long-form content. It offers a 'Text view' that strips away clutter, which functions similarly to a rich text editor for reading. While it doesn't focus on content creation, its core offering of optimized reading experience and content organization for users who save articles for later consumption, and the ability to search and discover saved content, aligns with some aspects of a content platform. The mobile app access is explicitly stated. User profiles are implied through the ability to save and organize articles, and the privacy policy mentions usernames and account management.
I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API
is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
