TinyMCE is a rich text editor that can be integrated into various applications. While it provides the core rich text editing functionality and some features that could be used for community feedback (comments, mentions) and engagement metrics (word count, revision history), it is not a complete publishing platform like Medium. It lacks the distribution and recommendation engine, membership monetization, and dedicated publication management features that are central to the Medium concept. TinyMCE is a component for developers to build with, not an end-user publishing platform.
I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API
is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
