Stan is an all-in-one creator store that helps creators sell digital products, courses, and bookings through a link-in-bio. It focuses on e-commerce and monetization for creators, rather than providing a platform for long-form content publishing and distribution like Medium. None of the 'must-have' features for Medium (rich text editor, distribution & recommendation engine, membership monetization based on reading time, reader engagement metrics for stories, or community feedback tools for stories) are present in Stan's offering. While Stan does offer 'Memberships', it's for recurring payments for products/services, not for content monetization based on reading time as described for Medium.
I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API
is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
