Podcastle for Teams offers a platform for creating, editing, and publishing audio and video content, primarily podcasts. While it has robust editing and collaboration tools, it doesn't explicitly focus on a 'recommendation engine' for content discovery in the same vein as Medium, nor does it have a direct 'reader engagement metrics' system for writers in the way Medium does (e.g., read ratio, claps as a primary metric). It does offer monetization through subscriptions for creators, but not a direct 'membership monetization' model where readers pay to access premium content and writers earn based on reading time. However, it does have a rich editor, community feedback tools (comments), and publishing capabilities.
I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API
is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
