Feedly is primarily an RSS reader and content aggregator, which aligns with the distribution and recommendation engine feature. It offers a 'Pro' version for advanced features, indicating a form of membership monetization. The platform allows users to organize sources and follow topics, which relates to user profiles/following and tags/topics. It is available as a mobile app and includes search functionality. However, it does not appear to offer a rich text editor for content creation, community feedback tools in the same vein as Medium, or detailed reader engagement metrics for writers, as its focus is on content consumption rather than creation and writer monetization.
I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API
is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
