Kwill Books is a publishing house that assists authors in publishing and marketing their books. While it offers services like editing, cover design, ISBN registration, and marketing (including Amazon bestseller ranking and reviews), it does not function as an online publishing platform where writers directly create and share content through a rich text editor or where readers engage with content via a recommendation engine or membership model. The core offering is a publishing service, not a content platform like Medium. Therefore, most of the 'must-have' features for Medium are not applicable. However, it does have author profiles, social sharing capabilities for the published books, and a search function for authors and books.

I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
