ScreenLink is explicitly marketed as an 'open-source Loom alternative' and offers core functionalities like screen and camera recording, instant shareable links, and team collaboration features. The website clearly states its ability to record 'any screen, any window, microphone or webcam' and provides 'instantly sharable links'. It also mentions 'Team Collaboration' with role-based permissions, 'Video Transcription', 'Analytics & Insights', and 'Remove Branding' (custom branding).
I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API
is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
