Cloudflare Stream is a video streaming platform that allows users to upload, store, encode, and deliver live and on-demand video. While it offers features like custom video editing (clipping), analytics, custom watermarks (branding), and AI-generated captions (transcripts), it is primarily a video hosting and delivery service for developers to build their own video features, rather than an asynchronous video communication platform like Loom. It lacks direct screen or camera recording capabilities for end-users and instant shared links in the same manner as Loom, which focuses on quick, personal video messages.
I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API
is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
