Restream is primarily a live streaming and multistreaming platform, which differs from Loom's asynchronous video communication focus. While it offers features like screen and camera recording within its 'Studio' for live broadcasts, and some basic editing capabilities for pre-recorded content, its core value proposition is not instant, shareable asynchronous video messages. It does provide analytics for live streams, but the overall emphasis is on live broadcasting rather than the quick, context-rich video messages that Loom specializes in. The 'Upload & Stream' feature allows for pre-recorded videos to be streamed live, which is not the same as Loom's instant sharing of recorded videos.
I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API
is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
