Frame.io is a video collaboration platform, but it focuses on review and approval workflows for creative teams rather than asynchronous video messaging. While it handles video and sharing, it doesn't emphasize screen or camera recording as its primary input method, nor does it offer instant shared links for ad-hoc video messages in the same way Loom does. It does, however, offer features like centralized asset management (Team Library), viewer analytics (implied by tracking review cycles), timestamped comments, emoji reactions, customizable sharing (custom branding, password protection), and enterprise security. The core 'must-have' features of screen and camera recording are not explicitly highlighted as primary functions.
I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API
is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
