Microsoft Teams offers video conferencing, which includes screen sharing and camera usage. While it's primarily a real-time communication platform, it does offer meeting recordings and transcripts, which aligns with some of the asynchronous video features. However, its core offering is not asynchronous video messaging like Loom, but rather live video conferencing. The 'instant shared links' feature as described for Loom (no upload wait) is not explicitly highlighted for Teams' recordings, which are typically stored within the Teams environment. Basic video editing is mentioned through Clipchamp integration in some plans. Features like emoji reactions, custom branding, password protection, and security compliance are also present.

I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
