Standard Notes is primarily a secure note-taking application with strong encryption and privacy features. While it offers file storage, it does not provide AI-powered file organization, conversational AI for file management, or automated sorting rules based on content. Its file management capabilities are limited to secure storage and basic organization within the note-taking context. It does, however, emphasize privacy controls, manual approval for changes (implied by user control over notes), multi-tier pricing, and data encryption.

I've been using Alternative A for 6 months now and it's been fantastic. The pricing is much better and the features are actually more robust than what [Product] offers.
It handles edge cases much better and the API is actually documented properly.

Honestly, after trying both, Competitor B wins hands down. Better customer support, cleaner interface, and they don't nickel and dime you for every feature.
